It needs to be mentioned that you first need to run the installation script to generate .env (so it is always needed for that reason), and then run the build script.

A.k.a. first time scripts. These are run when the project is built for the first time on your device. This might be used when pulling a new branch or building the project for the first time (hello the year after us).

Is the problem that it is unclear or that people don't read the readme?

In either case, the readme is slightly out of date due to some new stuff (.env for example) that I will add in branch.
