Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Report: Bug is part of a larger issue of where the solution is incomplete/contains error.
Deleting the slnx file and letting Visual Studio Code generate its own .sln file resulves this bug. However the auto-generated solution is also incomplete, and unsuitable for merging into the project. See new issue #405.
